- Place the whetstone on an absorbent towel with the rubber base facing down for stability.
- Add a small amount of water and spread it evenly with your hand.
- Disassemble the comb blade and place it on the stone with the writing facing you.
- Apply even pressure across all sides of the comb blade.
- Move the blade up & down the stone, maintaining steady pressure.
- Sharpen for up to one minute (depending on blade dullness).
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before storing.
- Pre-Use Preparation: Before sharpening, soak the whetstone in water for a few minutes until no air bubbles emerge. This saturation prevents damage and enhances sharpening efficiency.
